Relationship-rich education: How human connections drive success in college.

Join this semester’s faculty book club focused on building an excellent educational experience for our students through fostering human relationships. Drawing on their research across hundreds of interviews and visits to 30 universities across the country, the authors provide strategies for how relationship-rich environments can exist for all students in higher education. Specific topics include mentoring conversations with students and building relationship-rich classrooms.

  • Feb 20 – Chapter 2&3
  • March 13 – Chapter 4&5
  • April 3 – Chapter 6 and conclusion
All meetings are from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
