Creating a better future for education

Our programs focus on optimizing your abilities to serve students, schools, and the community through education. We develop well-rounded educational professionals that can teach and lead in rural and urban communities. With a Christian-centered focus, relevant curriculum, and engaging faculty you can play a meaningful role in the world of education.

Our Mission

The School of Education equips and inspires Christian servant leaders to pursue integrity and excellence in the delivery of educational services within professional and lifelong learning throughout the world.

At Concordia University, we believe in the transformational role of education, and are committed to providing meaningful experiences in all of our teacher education degree programs. Small class sizes and outsized individual mentoring immerse you in personal learning. Rigorous, innovative curriculum empowers you to lead with confidence and agility. Our value for Christ-centered faith and learning invites you to align your beliefs within instructional settings as you deepen your sense of calling and vocation.

Lutheran Educator Development Program

The LED Project is designed to be a professional and spiritual development program for Lutheran schools who want to teach and train their non-LCMS faculty and staff members the doctrine, heritage, and Christ-centered, educational practices of the LCMS.
