It’s all about insider information. SI sessions are led by students who’ve successfully completed your course — with the same professor. Simply put: they’ve been there. It also improves:
- Study strategies and time management.

- Helps students become more independent thinkers by assisting them to develop and use course resources (lecture notes, tests, quizzes, labs, etc.) effectively

Make the Most of Your SI Session
- Here are some tips that will make the most out of your SI session:
- Hour-long sessions are offered 1-2 times a week and you can come as often as you’d like. And if you need more help, swing by the SI leader’s weekly office hours.
- Come on time and prepared with any questions!
- Use SI as an opportunity to meet other students in your class and form study groups.
- Use the strategies used in SI in your own study sessions.
